Camps for Children Ages 2-3 (with parent)

My Little One & Me (2-3):
Who said the big kids get all the fun?! Two- and three-year olds and their special adult now have a summer camp of their own! Each day will be full of fun surprises: music and movement; science explorations; art projects, and special playtime in the museum before it is open to the public!

Camps for Children Ages 4-5

Mini Jedi Training Camp (4-5):
Get ready for a special week-long Jedi Training. Campers will investigate robots, light sabers and space travel. From our Alpha Lab Station on the Moon of Endor, we will explore droids and build models of space communities to support life on new planets. Plus there will be Lego building activities, rocket experimentation and much more.

SPLAT! Art Camp (4-5):
Get ready for a week of artistic fun and learning as you create masterpieces using a variety of artistic mediums and methods. Have a blast, get creative and make a mess (that we’ll clean up!). Get your paintbrushes ready for SPLAT!

Princess Poppy's Adventures (4-5):
“Once Upon A Time at Omaha Children’s Museum…” Start your own fairy tale adventure as you join us for a week full of princess fun!  You’ll do crafts, have tea parties, read lots of princess themed stories and even enjoy a visit from Princess Poppy herself at the end of the week.  This memorable camp will make all kids feel like royalty.

Dinosaurs: The Big Dig - Junior Paleontologist (4-5):
Did you hear that ROAR?!?  Dinosaurs are back at Omaha Children’s Museum and you will get to meet them up close! Experiment with fossils, excavate in our dig pit, and learn how paleontologists discover about these larger than life creatures!

KAPOW! Mini Superhero Training (4-5):
Get ready to run, jump, and fly your way into the league of OCM Superheroes! We will have active games, races and challenges to ensure that we are ready to spring into action! Plus, campers will learn what it means to be a superhero in real life.  Join us for a week of Superhero fun as we prepare to make the world a safer place!

Lego-Mania Camp (4-5): 
Calling all brick builders! Whether you are a Lego champion or new to the world of the most popular brick ever built, all campers will love Lego-Mania! Play with thousands of Lego bricks, complete sets, and compete in Lego challenges all while boosting your creative thinking and problem solving skills!

All the science you love at Omaha Children’s Museum rolled into one exciting camp week! Conduct experiments, build rockets and learn about the science behind bubbles. Your parents will love the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) skills we’ll work on… you will just have a BLAST!

Maker Camp (6-8): 
Put your tool belts on and get ready for a week of Making and fun during Maker Camp!  Campers will have the opportunity to explore making all things from textiles to electronics, wood working and more in a safe and open ended environment.  Come learn all about science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics in a fun and exciting new way.  What will you make this week?

Kids Can Cook! (6-8):
Omaha Children’s Museum has all the right ingredients for the best summer ever! Come cook up your favorite treats that are yummy… and good for your tummy! Themes and recipes change each week, so campers are encouraged to sign up for more than one session.
*OCM cannot change the recipes or program for Kids Can Cook! based upon individual food allergies or preferences. If you are concerned about your child’s participation in this program, please call the Manager of Learning Experiences at 402.930.2341.

Neighborhood Camp (5-8):

Snow Queen, Rumpelstiltskin & Other Fairy Tale Adventures:
Spend your mornings at the Omaha Children’s Museum and your afternoons at The Rose Theater with characters from your favorite fairy tale adventures!  At The Rose, we will bring characters to life and act out favorite scenes from stories like Snow Queen and Rumpelstiltskin. We will even create new fairy tales of our own!
