Omaha Children's Museum's summer camps feature engaging curriculum and great instructors who make every day exciting and new. Camps below are intended for children ages 6 to 8, and include daily play in the museum, and a snack.View 2021 Summer Camps Schedule

Advanced Wizardry Academy
Advanced Wizardry Academy isn't quite Hogwarts, but it's close. This popular summer camp ventures into the world of Harry Potter through imaginative play and science experiments. We'll explore some of the First Year core subjects including potions and charms, as well as extracurricular studies in fantastical beasts and Quidditch.
Agents of C.A.M.P. (NEW!)
Spider Man, Captain America, the Hulk, Black Panther, Groot, Storm, and more join us in this camp as we analyze different Marvel heroes. We’ll look at the science of superpowers, and develop our own Marvel characters. By the end of the week, we’ll know what it takes to join the Avengers!

Camp Hatchtopia (NEW!)
Sure, Hatchimals like Cheetree, Penguala and Puppit may be fictional creatures, but the proper caretaking techniques for them are real. During the week, campers will develop their own Hatchimal, while we dive into the science and biology behind some of the real creatures hatchimals resemble.
Camp Mash-Up takes campers on a new themed adventure each day based on the museum’s most popular camps this year and in previous years. It’s a surprise what each day will be, but we promise, it’s going to be a lot of fun!

Hot Wheels Stunt Squad (NEW!)
Every day is a new Hot Wheels adventure! Campers will design their own cars and tracks, and explore the physics and engineering behind test runs.
Kids in the Kitchen
Meet us in the kitchen for a fun week of camp! Through food, kids will learn S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) concepts and culinary history while preparing recipes each day. Please indicate known food allergies on the medical form.

Mad Scientist Camp (NEW!)
Mwua ha ha ha! Mad Scientist Camp takes the highlights of the museum’s popular science shows and teaches campers how to perform the experiments themselves. Throughout the week, campers will grow their own Igor with Polyurethane foam, control currents with squishy circuits, create volcanic eruptions using things you can find in your own kitchen, and so much more!

Lace your sneakers and stretch those muscles, this camp is all about the 2021 Summer Olympics! A range of competitive sports will be explored and children will learn how some sports are adapted for athletes with disabilities. Throughout the week, campers will work on social skills while staying active through play and friendly competition.
Professor Oak’s Training Camp
Gotta catch 'em all! Whether you dream of being a trainer or you're just curious about the legendary world of Pokemon, this imaginative camp explores the powers and legends behind some of the most popular characters through games, crafts, and experiments.

S.T.E.A.M. Time Travelers
This camp is all about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics exploration and the history-making leaders in each field. We’ll introduce campers to men and women in the S.T.E.A.M. fields through hands-on experiments and projects related to their discoveries.
Neighborhood Camp (Ages 5-8)
Spend your mornings at The Rose Theater and your afternoons at Omaha Children's Museum. Students will use their bodies, voices, and imaginations to explore and act out delightful stories inspired by the summer exhibit Game On.
