Education

Omaha Children's Museum believes that play fosters learning, and playing in an environment that exposes us to new ideas, beliefs, or values can teach us to appreciate and understand our differences and to celebrate our commonalities.

Omaha Children’s Museum is a safe place for children of all colors and backgrounds. While we are closed, we hope to provide you the resources you need to keep children playing and learning. For ideas experiments, games, and other playful activities, please follow our [object Object] or read below for printable activity sheets.

Over the past months, our city and country have experienced pain, injustice and unimaginable suffering. We are heartbroken by the distress occurring across the country and within our city, merely blocks from our museum. We want to stand by parents and children and assure you, that Omaha Children's Museum stands against racism and we stand for equality and inclusivity.

We encourage parents and caregivers to have honest conversations with your children and loved ones. Sometimes these conversations are uncomfortable, but important. And we are here to help and be a safe resource and place for all.
