Science Shows
Tuesday - Friday: 10, 11 a.m., 12, 1, 2, 3 p.m. Saturday & Sunday: 10, 11 a.m.; 12, 1, 2, 3, 4 p.m.

Kitchen ABC's
Tuesday - Friday: 9:30 am in the Curiosity Room
Become a junior chef as you practice basic kitchen techniques such as cutting and measuring, and then eat your creations. We like to celebrate different cultures and their foods from around the world. We also celebrate holidays like Dr. Seuss Day by making green eggs and ham, or March Madness, with basketball quesadillas. Space is limited, so pick up your free ticket at the front desk.
S.T.E.A.M. Power
Tuesday - Friday: 2 pm Saturday & Sunday: 10:30 am & 3:30 pm In the S.T.E.A.M. Cave S.T.E.A.M. Power is back! We’re opening our S.T.E.A.M. Cave to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, in new and exciting ways! We may be investigating circuits, using physics to create art, or designing leprechaun traps using simple machines.
Educational Enchantments Science Show (in Thistle's Theater)
Tuesday - Friday.: 11 am & 1:45 pm Saturday - Sunday: 10 am & 1:45 pm Magical Science Exhibit Did you know that magic surrounds us every day? It does, all in the form of... SCIENCE!!! We have a brand new science show as part of the Magical Science Exhibit opening on February 3, 2023. Join Thistle the dragon as we learn the science behind our favorite spells. It’s sure to be an enchantingly educational show!
Millie's Emotional Adventure (in Thistle's Theater)
Tuesday - Friday: 11:45 am Saturday - Sunday: 1 pm Magical Science Exhibit
In this new social emotional adventure, guests help Millie process her emotions in order to save her stuffed elephant! This program hits on cognitive, social, and compassionate empathy all while entertaining young audiences. Come join Thistle and Millie as we recognize emotions, learn the science behind how our brain works, and adopt coping mechanisms to help us handle our big feelings.
A Generation of Hope Program
Tuesday - Friday: 1 pm Saturday - Sunday: 9:30 am & 2:45 pm A Generation of Hope Exhibit Join us daily for programming and activities within the A Generation of Hope: Indigenous Peoples of the Heartland exhibit. Experience traditional beading and foods, play games, and listen to stories.
