Welcome Fund Overview
Omaha Children's Museum Welcome Fund is a 100% donor-supported fund designed for the purpose of sharing the museum experience with families and children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy our programs and exhibits. All Welcome Fund memberships are subject to the availability of monies donated by organizations and private individuals in support of this program.
Residents of Douglas, Sarpy, Cass (NE & IA), Dodge, Mills, Fremont, Harrison, Washington, or Pottawattamie counties are eligible for Welcome Fund memberships.

Please drop off or mail the completed application form and additional required items to:

Your application may take 1 week to process.
If Approved
Your membership will be valid for one year from issue date and you will need to reapply in order to renew.
If Denied
You may reapply for a Welcome Fund membership two months from the decline date.
New Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must submit copies of ONE of the following documents with the application and a $5 payment:
A copy of your Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits letter (notice of action letter), WIC benefits letter (contact clinic to get letter), or a Medicaid Benefits letter. We also accept will SNAP, WIC and Medicaid cards if applying in person. All documents submitted must list your name and activation or expiration date.
A copy of the most recent income tax return for each adult on the application stating Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). Your Adjusted Gross Income must be at or below the guidelines listed below to qualify for a Welcome Fund membership.
Income Eligibility Guidelines (Effective through June 2023)
Persons in Family/Household: 1 Household Income: $13,590
Persons in Family/Household: 2 Household Income: $18,310
Persons in Family/Household: 3 Household Income: $23,030
Persons in Family/Household: 4 Household Income: $27,750
Persons in Family/Household: 5 Household Income: $32,470
Persons in Family/Household: 6 Household Income: $37,190
Persons in Family/Household: 7 Household Income: $41,910
Persons in Family/Household: 8 Household Income: $46,630
For families/households with more than 8 persons, add $4,720 for each additional person.
