The S.T.E.A.M. Cave features four exhibits and a learning space all centered on introducing science, technology, engineering, art and math (or S.T.E.A.M.) concepts to children. The S.T.E.A.M. Cave’s hands-on science learning lab is the home to S.T.E.A.M. Power programming as well as a new program created in partnership with NASA.
The S.T.E.A.M. Cave exhibits will introduce children to inventors, scientists and engineers who work or have worked in S.T.E.A.M. fields. Art and literature components are integrated into the exhibits, as well; for instance, the Giga Guitar Table shows how music mixes science and art. A few of the other exhibits include Glowworm Cavern, exploring bioluminescence, and Grace Hopper’s Brain, a space to explore electricity and conductivity.
