Museum Without Walls, launched in March 2020, is designed to provide educational and museum-quality experiences to children and families who may not otherwise be able to visit the Omaha Children’s Museum. Experiences can be virtual or in-person, and most have been free thanks to donors.

Chemistry in Action Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 4 pm Witness Chemistry in action as we observe chemical reactions, physical changes, and discuss where chemistry is used in everyday life. Make observations and draw conclusions as our scientist discovers what makes a glow stick glow, what can be added to change the color of a flame, and more!
Bubble Science Wednesday, March 29 at 4 pm Explore science of pressure, air, and solutions as we create lots and lots of bubbles. Find out how to change a bubble's shape, how to make bubble snakes, and what materials at home can be used to make your own bubbles.

So far in 2022, Museum Without Walls as partnered with Cinco de Mayo, UNO Freedom Fest, Heartland Pride, Omaha Housing Authority, Afrofest, and others.
Individuals served in 2021:
In 2021, Omaha Children's Museum was at 19 community events outside of the museum's normal business operations, as well as three online events viewed by the nationwide audience of Varsity Tutors. Events ranged from STEM in the City at the Highlander, Cinco de Mayo festivities on 24th Street, and the Sixth Annual Youth Pride event at Baxter Arena. Fall events have included African Cultural Festival Omaha at Aksarben Village and Nightmare on L Street at South High School.
