What are you most proud of accomplishing during your time on the board? If you’re one of the newest members on the board, what do you hope to accomplish? The pandemic has significantly impacted the Children’s Museum. I am very proud of how the Executive team and staff of the Children’s Museum have taken on these challenging times by offering more virtual programs and investing to ensure the health and safety of our visitors.

What things interested you as a child? Sports, music, math and reading
What did you want to be when you grow up? A history teacher
What was your first job? A busboy at a restaurant
What do you do now? I’m an attorney
Tell us about your family: My wife, Maggie, and I have 4 children – Elza, Mara, Madeline and Helmut. We recently brought a puppy into our household as well (Reggie).
Share a memory you have of visiting Omaha Children’s Museum: I really enjoy any time my children visit the Children’s Museum with their grandparents. The Children’s Museum is obviously focused towards the children, but getting to share in their learning experiences at the Museum through three generations is truly special.
