When did you join the Board of Directors? 2019

Any position you currently hold on the board/have held on the board: Development Committee

What are you most proud of accomplishing during your time on the board? I am proud to be able to provide strategic communication counsel that supports the Museum’s growth and image during this time. In addition, I am still proud to have lead the Guild to its largest, most successful Benefit in terms of revenue raised.

Your hometown: Omaha, NE

What things interested you as a child? Exploring outdoors, reading, being active and challenged. Pushing forward to advance to the next challenge, going to camp in Colorado for five weeks at a time starting at the age of 10 and working to raise the money to pay for myself to go. 🙂

What did you want to be when you grew up? A veterinarian or sports nutritionist

What was your first job? Babysitting newborn triplets and a 1 year-old toddler. Then cashier at Champs Sporting Goods.

What do you do now? I own a Lifestyle Public Relations firm with national-based clients. I employ 15 women across the country and have mastered the art of working from home and encouraging my team to do the same – working a flexible schedule to maximize efficiency with client projects for maximum impact.

Tell us about your family: I will celebrate my 15 year anniversary this summer to my Texan husband Chase. We moved to Omaha 9 years ago, and the OCM Benefit was the first non-profit event we attended. I am the mother of three children – ages 12, 9 and 6.

Share a memory you have of visiting Omaha Children’s Museum: I visited many times as a child, but my most memorable was with Christopher Reeve and the dinosaurs.

What are three words that best describe Omaha Children’s Museum? Imagination. Joy. Inspiration.
