When did you join the Board of Directors? January 2019

Any position your currently hold on the board: I am the chair of the Development Committee

What are you most proud of accomplishing on the board? I helped the team refine the brand personality of the museum to ensure all the we do aligns with the core essence of the museum and what makes it so special! Your hometown: McLean, VA

What interested you as a child: As a child I was fascinated by music! I sang in the choir (through college!) and performed in many musical productions.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a paleontologist and study dinosaurs.

What was your first job? I first worked as a cashier at The Imaginarium. It was a toy store that had many different educational toys. I specifically remember they had these tiny little toys in bins. Every night my job was to sort them … it took forever!

What do you do now? I work in strategic brand marketing at Mutual of Omaha. I help the company build our brand in the market.

Tell us about your family: My husband is a native to Omaha which is what brought me here many years ago. We have two girls, 7 and 10 and live in the Dundee neighborhood. We are very involved in sports and love traveling (when safe!) with our kids.

Share a memory you have of visiting the museum: I have many fond memories of the Children’s Museum – especially the summer camps which my girls look forward to attending every summer. The magic of play and the joy the museum brings has always been an important part of why I love this organization.

What are three words that best describe Omaha Children’s Museum: Magical, joyful, family
